It’s important to review this document thoroughly prior to confirming a booking. When you reserve a charter with CommunityResourcePlaza, you express your consent to this refund policy.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Full refund except for service charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Must be submitted via written request through email or by phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 taken from the refund amount
Conditions: Justifiable reason necessary; handling costs are applied
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds are not issued
Exception: Situations deemed emergencies may be taken into account
Alternative: Credits for future charters could be considered at the discretion of the management team
Conditions: Evidence must be furnished for emergency situations
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
The utmost priority is safety. If our certified captain judges the weather as unsuitable for sailing activities, we offer alternatives:
- Full Refund: Given if rescheduling isn't feasible
- Reschedule: Move your booking to another available date without extra charges
- Charter Credit: Issued and valid for one year from the initial booking date
Weather Assessment Process
Assessment of weather conditions comprises:
- Examination of wind conditions
- Estimation of sea state including wave height
- Forecast for visibility and precipitation
- Notifications from the Coast Guard
- Captain's safety assessment
Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We empathize with unforeseen medical crises. Special considerations may be given under the following scenarios:
- Sudden medical conditions or injuries necessitating hospital admission
- Passing of a close family member
- Unexpected military assignments or recalls
- Legal obligations such as jury duty
- Travel interruptions due to natural disasters
Documentation Requirements
For considering emergency refunds, please supply:
- Medical statement or records from a hospital
- Certification of death (if relevant)
- Valid military directives
- Official court orders
- Emergency travel advisories or announcements
Processing: Emergency refunds are processed within 3-5 business days following submission of required documentation.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
If the designated vessel malfunctions and cannot be fixed:
- Alternative Vessel: We will endeavor to provide a suitable replacement
- Full Refund: Provided if an appropriate substitute vessel is unavailable
- Partial Refund: Granted if the alternative offered differs in price
- Compensation: Extra remuneration might be considered for any inconvenience
Crew Unavailability
In the unusual event that the certified crew is indisposed:
- A substitute crew will be arranged if possible
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to proceed
- Offer to reschedule without additional fees
Refund Processing
Payment Method
All refunds are issued back to the original form of payment provided at booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

€50 charge for cancellations requested more than 72 hours before the charter
Bank Transfer Processing
€25 charge for any refund via bank transfer
International Processing
Additional charges may apply for refunds involving international transactions
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Charter credits may be proposed instead of refunds under certain conditions:
- Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Customer's voluntary request to change the date
- Interruptions in services
Credit Terms
- Validity: 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Non-transferable to others
- Value: Covers the full cost of the charter without deduction for fees
- Usage: Applicable to any forthcoming charters that are available
- Expiration: No renewals past the one-year mark
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
Should your charter experience disruptions or need to be cut short due to our actions:
- A proportional refund corresponding to the time not used
- Credit towards a future booking of equal value
- Complimentary services or upgrades as a gesture
Guest-Related Interruptions
In the event that a charter ends prematurely due to guest actions or safety breaches:
- No reimbursement for the unused portion
- Full payment is still required
- Potential additional fees
Dispute Resolution
Should you wish to contest a decision regarding refunds, you may:
- Submit a request for re-evaluation to our administrative team
- Provide supplementary details or proof
- Seek assistance from consumer protection entities
- Engage in applicable legal courses of action

Step 2: Provide Information
Your application should contain the following details:
- Your booking identification number
- Scheduled date and time of the charter
- Causative reason for the cancellation
- Relevant supporting evidence (if necessary)
- Preference for how the refund should be processed
Step 3: Review and Processing
Our team will confirm receipt of your application within a day, evaluate it according to the terms of this policy, make a decision within two days, and follow through with processing the approved refunds as per the indicated time frames.
Important Notes
- All refund requests are to be made formally in writing
- Refunds are processed in € and may be subject to the currency if different from the original payment
- We highly advise getting travel insurance
- This refund policy is subject to modifications which are disclosed with a 30-day notice
- Refunds are inclusive of any applicable taxes and adhere to regulations
